Claire knows exactly what it's like to be a first-time homebuyer, since she bought her first home with the help of The Buyer's Agent of Asheville. She was so impressed with the integrity and philosophy of the company, that she became an agent herself. "I never understood how one person could ethically represent both the buyer and the seller," Claire says. "That would be like hiring the same lawyer to represent both sides. It just doesn't make sense."
Born and raised near Chicago, Claire has traveled the world, earning degrees in Political Science and Spanish from Marquette University and the University of Madrid. After college, she volunteered in the Peace Corps in Paraguay and later became a Class V whitewater raft guide. “After seeing the world, nothing compares to Asheville.” She and her husband Paul live in West Asheville and enjoy all the outdoor activities that the mountains have to offer. Paul Bartholic is also a real estate broker and manages transactions from contract to close.
